Private Distribution

Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project in Kosgoda, 2015

“During my stay at the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project in Sri Lanka, I distributed 130 play balls. With the great help of the other volunteers and the staff of the hatchery, I could endow play balls to children during our weekend trips and in two places called Unesco Village and Aurora Village in Kosgoda, which were built after the Tsunami in 2004. The remaining balls, I distributed in a small village in the back country. A local tuktuk driver knew this place and drove me there. Wherever we distributed the yellow balls, the joy was huge – not only with the children and their parents, but also with the volunteers who played with the children after the ball distributions!"
